Medicare Part A covers Inpatient hospital treatment, skilled nursing facility care, hospice care, lab testing, surgery, and home health care are all covered by Medicare Part A hospital insurance. Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) covers outpatient treatment and facilities provided by doctors and other health care providers. Durable medical supplies, home health care, and certain preventive services are also provided under Section B.
